The Story Behind Success
The Beginning – 2000
Back in 20’s we bought this land near by Pune within 60 km in Bhor a village called Pasure. I bought this with my three partner as desire to have a farmhouse in future. Where we can enjoy with our family and friends as well. But after that due to my busy schedule I couldn’t even looked upon this land and as well as my partners too.
So after 4 to 5 years my partners decided to sell the property. As they thought it’s only an asset, and don’t have any output in the land as there was not any source of basic need available. But for me it was my future to invest in nature and do something different on that land. So I asked them if they want to sell it then sell it to me and indeed they agreed with it. After that i started coming with my family and friends.
Whenever we came we always sat under a tree of Jamun (Plum) and thought that what can be done in this beautiful land. My friends also had some suggestions but not worth it of my vision of doing something different. So this was just a beginning of the Story behind the success.
The New Era of Tourism Begins — 2020
The COVID-19 pandemic has had solid effect on the travel industry market. Because of the lockdown and the end of outskirts, vacationer traffic went to a sudden end. I think Agritourism is way out for the tourism industry. Now first of let me introduce what is agritourism to you .Agritourism or Agrotourism includes any agriculturally based activity or action that carries guests to a homestead or farm. Where it feels we are in a different world than pandemic one. This is what Agritourism is all about staying in nature or we can say connecting to nature and disconnecting from our world.
Now let me explain why is Agritourism a way out for the Tourism Industry. This is because the most important mind set for every person after this pandemic and all lockdown thing had happened, is now having short vacation and which should be near-by, and there can be any reason like frustration, work load, boring routine, hectic work, mental peace etc. So people would be in search for a place where they feel more secured, relaxed and Eco-friendly surrounding. And for this I personally think Agritourism would be a best option for weekend gateway or a small vacation. This is how tourism industry will have an opportunity to start a new era of Tourism.
How can it be possible for an individual to invest such a large amount of capital in this agritourism in such situations? Yes I know you would be thinking the same, but this slogan of my school has taught me we together can move the world, so who all are willing to invest in this concept but having financial problem, can come together and reach out the solution with the mutual understanding.
As I am saying all this because we already have invested. Anandi Jeevan Agrotourism Centre it is. And we would love to share our experience with those are willing too.
Yes it is 2020 but we are human who has crucial problems to face but we are also the most intellectual ones. So we will suffer and also have power to resolve it. So stay Strong Tourism Industry, We are united and will be. #StandUnited.
